Ansonia Wall Clock - Circa 1895
The case needs some work. The small tag in the center of the dial indicates that the clock was sold new in India.	The veneer is OK - not great, but acceptable. Stripping the old Shellac is easy.
This clock is over 100 years old and looks it! Actually 100 years is not real old for a clock.	You have to look through the dirt and see that all of the parts are there. It's hard to replace missing parts.
Cleaned and repaired - front view.	Rear view. New springs, one for the time and one for the strike.
The case was cleaned and recoated with Shellac.	The camera's flash gives it more gloss than it has. A satin finish is correct. Next will be the face and glass.
