1967 Elan S3 Restoration
Assisting the owner in his garage.

The owner restored the body, chassis and engine, but needed help with the electrics and starting the engine. |
The pre-made wire harness wasn't an exact fit, so, many hours were spent "getting it right." Also, the harness was changed for an Alternator, Electric Fuel Pump and Lucas Electronic Ignition. |

Modified a new Triumph radiator to fit. Remove the top pipe and shorten then reinstall at the correct angle. |
The bottom pipe only needs to be loosened and rotated. |

Installed two 9" fans on front of the radiator. |
Used a different mounting method than Don's Elan. |
 |
 |
Progress! All electrics working. All cables connected. Hydraulics, exhaust, steering and engine ready. |
It's not finished, but enought was completed to drive to LOG30 and back home without a problem. |
